Floral Ornamental

In the past, bedding and ornamental plants have been sold in pots for potting out into the soil. Because the plants are only in the pots for a short time, peat has been seen as an acceptable and slightly cheaper medium but as environmental factors demand ever more consideration, coir is increasingly becoming a media of choice in this sector and is proven to give superb results either as an ingredient in a media mix or as a 100% coir medium. Unlike peat, coir does not shrink when it dries out and this is very helpful when many small pots are being grown on in warm weather.
