Steve Guy, Horticulture manager of B & Q reported that despite fears of peat shortages due to poor harvesting weather and bark shortages due to the effect of the recession on the timber industry, B & Q have significant stocks of growing media.  He said B & Q have 58 per cent peat dilution with a target of 90 per cent by 2013.
